I am writing on behalf of a recent Summer Reading Program performer at our library, Allan Lieberman.
Allan delighted the audience of preschoolers through elementary age students and their families with his singing and guitar playing. Especially enjoyable were his audience participation songs where the audience had to listen closely and join him in rollicking choruses.
Allan had a real feel for his audience and got them moving and quieted when most needed—so necessary in keeping young ones interested in a program! He had interesting songs, many that he wrote and could change words to go along with our Florida audience as he hails from the Chicago area. Kids love to relate music to themselves!
